1. Basic definition and classification
Definition: Car carriers are vehicles specially used to transport cars. They play an important role between car manufacturers and 4S stores, transporting produced vehicles from factories to sales points in various places.
Classification:
According to the structural form, car carriers can be divided into three models: double-bridge double-tire, double-bridge single-tire and single-bridge double-tire.
According to the appearance, car carriers can be divided into three types: skeleton type, semi-enclosed type and enclosed type.
2. Features and configuration
Body structure: The frame of the car carrier is an I-beam, and the entire body is fully automatic submerged arc welding and carbon dioxide gas shielded welding. After completion, shot peening is performed to improve the appearance.
Chassis design: The upper chassis can be divided into two to three pieces, and the degree is adjusted by hand winch and oil cylinder. The whole vehicle is equipped with a tool box, spare tire rack, and a drip brake system.
Configuration: In order to prevent the upper chassis from jumping, a rope tightener is set to pull the upper chassis and the lower chassis. At the same time, the vehicle transporter limits and tightens the loaded commercial vehicle before driving after loading the vehicle to avoid the vehicle jumping during driving.
Tire and fixation: The main methods of fixing commercial vehicles are wheel fixing method and frame fixing method. The wheel fixing method uses a car tire limiter and a car tire tightener to clamp the tire; the frame fixing method is to fix the frame of the commercial vehicle with the frame of the car transporter together.
