Advantages: The blade lifting and rotation are flexible, and the modification cost is low. The blade sweeping area of the special blade lifting transportation method is larger than that of the blade sweeping area of the ordinary flatbed truck. The area of the modification project involved in the curve is reduced by about 10 times. As shown in the figure below, the blade lifting transportation can effectively avoid high mountain cliffs and house complexes, reduce the cost of road reconstruction and house demolition, and damage to vegetation, greatly improving the efficiency of blade transportation.
Disadvantages: Due to the restrictions of expressways and most grade roads, wind turbine equipment can only be transported by ordinary flatbed trucks on the national public transportation network. Therefore, when mountain wind farms use special vehicles for transportation, they need to choose a suitable location near the wind farm area to set up an intermediate transfer yard. In addition, the transportation fee of special lifting vehicles is higher than that of ordinary flatbed trucks.
