The process requirements of milk tank trailers mainly include the following aspects:
Tank material and structure
- Material: The tank is usually made of food-grade stainless steel, such as 304 or 316L stainless steel, which has good corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and hygienic performance.
- Structure: The tank should have good sealing to prevent milk leakage during transportation. At the same time, the tank should be designed with reasonable flow channels and stirring devices to ensure that the milk remains uniform during transportation and prevents precipitation.
Temperature control
- Refrigeration system: The milk tank trailer should be equipped with an efficient refrigeration system to ensure that the temperature of the milk can be maintained between 0 and 6°C during transportation to ensure the freshness and quality of the milk.
- Thermal insulation performance: The tank should have good thermal insulation performance to reduce the impact of external temperature on the temperature of the milk in the tank. Multi-layer thermal insulation materials are usually used for thermal insulation treatment.
Cleaning and disinfection
- Cleaning system: The trailer should be equipped with an automatic cleaning system that can thoroughly clean the inside of the tank to ensure that the inside of the tank is clean and hygienic after each transportation.
- Disinfection measures: After each transportation, the tank should be disinfected to prevent bacteria from growing and ensure the hygiene and safety of milk.

Safety and protection
- Emergency shut-off valve: The tank should be equipped with an emergency shut-off valve, and the control button should be installed in a position that is easy to operate on the side and rear of the vehicle, and it should be in a closed state when not loading and unloading.
- Static protection: The vehicle should be equipped with an electrostatic grounding device, such as an electrostatic grounding tow belt and an electrostatic grounding terminal, to prevent safety accidents caused by static electricity accumulation.
- Guardrail and operating platform: A non-slip operating platform should be set on the top of the tank, and a foldable guardrail with a height of not less than 0.9 meters should be installed to ensure the safety of the operator.
Transportation and loading and unloading
- Loading and unloading interface: The vehicle should be equipped with a suitable loading and unloading interface, such as a large-diameter milk inlet and outlet, to facilitate quick loading and unloading of milk.
- Loading and unloading hose: The loading and unloading hose should use an anti-static hose, and the resistance value between the two sections of metal parts should not be greater than 5Ω to ensure the safety of the loading and unloading process.
Monitoring and Management
- Video Monitoring System: Vehicles should be equipped with relevant technical equipment such as on-board satellite positioning, video monitoring, and active safety defense systems to ensure the visualization and traceability of the transportation process.
- Temperature Monitoring: Temperature monitoring equipment should be equipped to monitor the temperature of the milk in the tank in real time and have an alarm function. Once the temperature exceeds the set range, an alarm can be issued in time.
