2. Working principle of European standard tank mouth of oil tanker:
① Emergency exhaust: When the pressure inside the tank is higher than the external pressure by 21-32KPa, emergency exhaust will be carried out to release the pressure inside the tank and prevent the tank from being damaged. Its diameter is 252mr and the maximum exhaust volume is 7000L/min.
② Built-in breathing: When the pressure inside the tank j1 forms a certain pressure difference with the external pressure, the breathing valve will automatically open to exhaust or inhale to adjust the pressure difference inside the tank. The maximum ventilation flow rate can reach 600L/min (one or two breathing valves can be installed according to user requirements).
③ Positive pressure when breathing valve opens: 6-8KPa Negative pressure when breathing valve opens: -2—3KPa
④ Dumping and overflow prevention: When the tanker accidentally dumps, the breathing valve will automatically close to prevent oil from overflowing.
⑤ Three spare openings: There are three auxiliary openings on the large manhole cover, which can be used to install oil and gas recovery valves, overflow prevention probes, oil measuring holes or external breathing valves.
⑥ Secondary opening: When the upper pressure plate is opened, the internal pressure will be released first to play a safety protection role.
